Looking after the elderly – our window-cleaning services for care homes

We’re proud to be doing our bit to improve the quality of life for the elderly across Kent, Sussex and Surrey.  How are we doing it?  By bringing sunshine into their lives!

It’s often the small things that make the biggest difference.  And our window cleaning is one of those small differences that add up to improve the quality of life of people living in care homes and nursing homes across Kent, Sussex and Surrey.

The gleaming windows that we achieve with our waterfed pole window cleaning system mean the elderly residents can really enjoy the outdoors, even when they can no longer get outside themselves.  They can see the changing seasons and feel more connected to the wider world.

The waterfed pole system keeps windows cleaner for longer because we wash the frames before we do the panes, meaning there is no residual dirt to run onto the glass with the first rains.  And the combination of soft brushes and pure water means there is no detergent to leave nasty streaks behind.

Plus, because we are CRB checked and Kent Trading Standards accredited, the care home and nursing home managers can have every confidence that we are safe contractors.  And, if that wasn’t enough, our sunny faces are enough to make even the most curmudgeonly Victor Meldrew smile!

If you work in a care home or nursing home in Kent, Sussex or Surrey, we’d love to bring sunshine back into the lives of the residents!

Putting the finishing touch to your summer party? Remember to book your window cleaners!

If you’re planning a home celebration this summer, you will want your house looking its best.  And that includes have sparkling windows.

Summer is party season: from BBQs to cocktail evenings, from exam celebrations to garden marquee wedding celebrations, we love to celebrate outside in the summer.  And it’s often the finishing touches that make all the difference.

Having a big celebration at home in the summer without getting your windows cleaned is a bit like putting up the Christmas decorations, preparing the meal with all the trimmings, but forgetting to run the vacuum round.  When your guests are outside, they have a different perspective of your house – and your windows will come under scrutiny from outside as well as inside.

So let us know in plenty of time when you’re holding your special celebration, and we will time a window cleaning visit to make sure your house is looking at its very best for the big event.

Summertime – and your windows may need cleaning more regularly

It doesn’t matter whether you’re in a city, town or the countryside, summer can make your windows every bit as dirty as winter.

There’s the dust that gets blown up from the roads and the fields.  There’s the pollen from the trees and flowers (if you suffer from hay fever, you know what we’re talking about!).  And there’s the pollution, which often doesn’t clear as well if the weather gets muggy.  If you’re in the country, there is often crop spraying and harvesting to contend with as well.

To make matters worse, with the sun high in the sky and the beautiful summer sunshine streaming in through your windows, every speck of dirt shows up so much more clearly.

That’s why summer is a really busy time for our waterfed pole windows cleaners: we try to fit in extra washes for our regular customers as they tell us that’s what they want.

If your windows are showing the tell-tale signs of summer in all its glory, give us a call and we will see if we can fit in an extra wash for you.

Protecting your privacy: we we’re the discreet window cleaning service

“You know what I like best about Shidan and his team?  They don’t suddenly appear at the window when you step out of the shower.  That used to happen all the time with the old lot.  I like that this lot stay on the ground and can’t see what’s going on upstairs.”

That’s what the 16-year-old daughter of one our customers told her recently.  And she’s right: we keep our feet firmly on the ground.  Our extendable window-cleaning poles mean we can clean windows up to six storeys high, but we’ll never pop up unexpectedly.

We always knock on the door to let you know that we are doing your windows, so if you’re in, you know not to take risks on the ground floor.  But what happens on the upper storeys, stays on the upper storeys!

So if you’ve ever been disturbed unexpectedly by your window cleaner, it may be time to consider swapping to Waterfed Pole Window Cleaning.  Not only will we protect your privacy, we don’t use dirty water and dirtier rags – just pure water to gently bring the sparkle back to your windows.  And our windows stay cleaner for longer, because we clean the panes before we clean the frames.

Fabulously clean windows and discretion guaranteed – it’s the perfect solution for windows in Kent, Sussex and Surrey!

How waterfed pole window cleaning will get your conservatory sparkling like new

It may have been a cold spring, but finally that forgotten garden room is beginning to come into its own.  But sitting in your conservatory can be ruined by dead leaves all over the roof and grimy panes.

Conservatories really are summer rooms.  As the days get warmer, enjoying your morning coffee with the sunlight streaming in, or sipping a glass of wine as the evening rays stretch in through the windows, is a perfect way to enjoy the British summer.

But to get the most out of your conservatory, you need to give it some TLC.  The winter is not kind to conservatories: all those dead leaves, seeds, pine needles and general muck being blown onto them.  So, if you don’t want to be peering through the grime, it’s time to get some expert window cleaners in.

Waterfed pole window cleaning is perfect for conservatories.  The extendable poles mean we don’t have to prop ladders up against the glass walls.  Nor do we have to stretch across the glass roof.  Keeping our feet firmly on the ground, we use the pure water and soft brushes to gently wash away the winter.  So you can enjoy your conservator the way you were meant to enjoy it: with sparkling windows so you can get the most out of enjoying the outside, inside.

Waterfed pole window cleaning – perfect for getting your conservatory back to its summer glory.
